For Students Entering College and Current College Students Up to Age 22
The Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program allows children of eligible 1199SEIU members to be considered for need-based financial awards. Award amounts vary according to need, with a minimum annual award of $750.
Your child may qualify for college scholarships through the Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program, but you must file an application request form in order to be considered for scholarship support. You can download the form during the application request period, which begins in September.
Click here for the 2015/2016 Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program application request form.
Forms are also available at the CCF Manhattan or Hicksville offices. The form serves as an application request only; it is not an application.
Eligible members who submit the application request form by the deadline will subsequently receive a Scholarship Application Kit with more information about the application process.
The Joseph Tauber Scholarship Program is provided through the 1199SEIU Benefit Funds. You must be receiving family coverage (Wage or Eligibility Class 1) through your Benefit Fund to be eligible for these benefits.
