Workers’ Compensation

If you are injured on the job or suffer a work-related illness, you must file a Workers’ Compensation claim with your employer. You may then be compensated for lost wages and health benefits related to your condition. The Benefit Fund will continue to provide health benefits not related to the illness or injury for up to 26 weeks while you are recovering.
