Registration Guidelines

Please Note:

There are no special exceptions for twins.

If two Fund-eligible 1199SEIU parents work at the same or different institutions, each parent may apply for the programs of their choice. Both parents are entitled to benefits; however, the Child Care Funds will not pay for duplicate benefits for the same child.

Members who work at more than one institution may only submit an application for one of the institutions.

There are no special exceptions for newborn children who do not have a Social Security number. The Child Care Funds cannot register any child without a Social Security number.

There are no special exceptions for unborn children. The Child Care Funds only register children from birth to 17 years of age.

The Funds make every effort to accommodate children with documented special needs. Once approved for a benefit, parents should inform the Child Care Funds promptly of special programming requirements for their child.

For more information on eligibility or distribution of benefits please check your Summary Plan Description or click here.
