Welcome to the Child Care Funds

The 1199SEIU Child Care Funds provide child care and youth programs to thousands of 1199SEIU parents and their children.  We offer a variety of programs, including educational, recreational and special needs programs, learning centers, professional development training and summer day and sleep-away camps. The Child Care Funds give the next generation and their parents the support they need to succeed in school and in the workplace.

Each fall, the 1199SEIU Child Care Funds launch the annual registration season, allowing eligible members the opportunity to register for Child Care Fund benefits. Information regarding the Funds’ offerings, such as the Child Care Resource & Referral Services and fall parenting seminars is also made available at that time. Registration typically begins in September and concludes by the end of October.

The Child Care Funds provide members with an overview of each program, eligibility criteria, registration sites, and a listing of service providers with whom the Funds contract in the registration application packet mailed to members each August.  Our website currently provides helpful information and other details about registration. More information regarding the 2013 registration period will be posted in the coming months.
